Icon9 A sad day for Rangers - Need help with parts

I have owned 3 Rangers before all 2.3L 5spd and I have loved them all. My most recent one is a 2005 and it is the nicest vehicle I have owned. Last week some fool in a Chevy Silverado (yuck) crossed the center line and side swiped my Ranger. I am leaning towards buying it back from the insurance company and repairing it myself but as far as bod parts go I am not sure what years will fit the '05. Also any help with websites that have decent prices would be appreciated.

They want to give me 9200 to keep it, ad 7100 for me to keep it but then I still have 1300 to pay off and no money to fix it.

I'd also be inclined take the $9200, pay off your loan, and go shopping. With that said, and you probably know this, that $9200, that was just their first offer, you can counter that with a higher figure (be reasonable). If they can have their way, they'd probably prefer you to just be quiet, play along and take the check, this saves them time and money. This means that if you choose to do this, do some homework before contacting them to justify your settlement price. Have some examples lined up to back your words. And FWIW, in a general sense, vehicles are considered totaled when repair cost = 80% of replacement. Exceptions are made for damage that can be fix but the end result may still not be "right", like major frame damage.

*If there's anything wrong with your pickup right now that makes it undriveable, call them up and tell them that you need a rental truck (you have a truck now, why settle for a Dodge Neon or other econo turd). Rentals are fun to break in.
