I'm looking for some advice on few things with regards to caps: durability and dealer reviews in Toronto area. I need to carry my tools around and I want the most dependable hard cap (2 of my buddies got their stuff stolen from their trucks) that's also durable enough to have removable roof rack for some 22' ladders. Also, I looked around on the net for different manufacturers to narrow down my choices, but there is little info on dealers in Toronto area (good customer service if hard to find).
I keep hearing good things about Leer and A.R.E., but no so good about Hawk.

Any ideas?

i saw a used leer one near guelph in elora that had roof racks that would come with it. they wanted $900 for it and the roof racks. it was burgundy and carpeted and the previous owner wired up the locks to work with the keyfob.

here is the number: 1.519.993.2080. they had a couple of other ones too.

 

Look at Van and Truck World they usually carry some caps. I'm in the Barrie area.

 

Thank you all for responding, I found a used Leer 100XQ with roof rack from Thule for $1000. It matched the color perfectly and only had a few minor blemishes from use. I removed the rack for pictures.

 

That's a very sharp and clean rack. Looks good. I have a Century and love it.

caps are for grandpa's and dood's who need to compensate for something.

Whatever came stock with 100XQ, it's finished with some dark gray headliner, 12v dome light, interior single clothes hanger and removable screens on side windows
