WHY two different style upper control arms

On my 2001 ranger xlt 4x4 has a two piece upper a-arm on right side and a one piece on the left side. why did they do this ,,Thank you 4door

Use the search button and enter 2 piece uca.
There's a couple pages of threads .
IIRC the replacement is one-piece.

FORD had a better idea ! Spend the customers money.

When you buy replacements get Moog Units, Lifetime guarantee on parts.

Check out Rock Auto, appeared to have the best prices when I did mine (last year).

The two piece arm has additional adjustment on it for caster I believe. Y they did it to one side Idk. Last time I looked rock auto still had the two piece arm but I opted to get the one piece

Thanks ,Mine are stiil ok from what The alignment shop said ,I just seen they where different while replacing the hubs ,,,Rock Auto is the way to go ,,,,,4door
