I'd say 16k is a good deal. 17k wouldn't be getting ripped off, by any means. Nothing over that, though.
If you're looking to spend 22k on a rig, you can find a higher caliber truck for that. Look into F150s.
But at the end of the day, you gotta ask yourself what YOU really want. If you want a Ranger with low miles, twin stick, FX4 that is clean...looks like thats the truck you should get.

Wow that's lo miles
If it's got everything you want then that's why it's so much!
Dealer even knows a stick is so tempting to many younger buyers.
They are in no hurry to sell...that rig will only get more rare and desirable as the summer and time passes...last december I saw an 09 FX4 lo miles, white, lifted with brand new 33's on alcoas, xline spray in, cold air in, tweaked dual exhaust for that same price, it lasted a week one the lot!
If you money to burn then you better get it...ie no more rangers dude.
20 out the door would be on impulse if you still got to have it.
I would regret that white is too much of a service truck color and if you don't live in a city then an F is a soooo much better rig for the same price or even less!
Good luck.

Yea, I'm pretty sure I said get it at almost any cost if thats THE truck.
But like someone else said...drive an F-series, its got so much more to offer for less.
If you ever have to drive all day then that ranger will pound you to death.
I've had both size fx4's recently, settled on the ranger once again for my retired needs to the lumber yard, but sure miss that big boy ride...but around city/town the F150 was a PITA.
The gas mileage in an F was a toss up for the power and ride on the hyways.

that is what a low mileage ranger is going for here where i live as well. i have a 08 fx with 45,xxx miles on it, and when i bought it 2 years ago with 22,xxx miles on it was for sale for 17,000. i kbb and nada my truck no and retail is 18-19 grand with the way it sits now, i did a kbb search on the truck you are looking at clean trade in is 18 grand and retail is in the high 20's. with the rebates and what not right now on rangers you could buy a new one for 22 grand. its your money and your truck you do what you want and what makes you happy

Great looking truck. You guys talk about the price being high. Granted I would not pay that much for it but it is marked right around kbb. A few thousand more, but it's at a dealership. They know most people don't have 22k or even 17k to hand them in cash so they can mark it up a bit. They can finance. Which makes it easier to crank the price up a bit more. Either way it's a nice truck. In the end do what you feel will make you happy. DON'T impulse buy. Being caught up in a loan sucks. Unless you have the known means to be able to reliably pay it guaranteed. Plus pay for everything else you need to, well over I guess is what I'm getting at. Remember your stuck with it for a while.
My question is, if it's an 07' and it's a manual lv 2 why is it not a twin stick? Didn't they have a man-t-case up till 08' on the lv 2's with manual trans?

I dont think you have a prayer of getting that truck for 16-17k like some have pointed out. Rangers actually went up in value bigtime a couple of years ago when Ford raised the sticker price by around $2000.
Ex: The KBB private party value on my 2008 FX4 with around 9200 miles is $22,400.
I wouldnt expect them to take less than 20k, or maybe 19k on a good day. Remember, they dont make these trucks anymore and super low miled FX4's arent exactly easy to find. Goodluck.
