SeaFoam, any have bad results???

I got an 89 Mustang Gt 5.0. It sitting in storage mode now but I was wanting to do a SeaFoam treatment to it when the weather warms up. There is spray can now with a formed straw the goes in under the air intake tube before the MAP instead of pouring it in in liquid form after the MAP. Has anyone try that yet? Did any "Check Engine" lights come on?
Did it make your engine run better?
Thanks,

No experience with the spray, however I've used the liquid stuff fairly frequently. Put half in your gas tank, half in your oil, drive around for about 20 minutes then change your oil.

On a 200K mile cavalier that didn't have that done for quite a while, it made it run a little smoother.

I've read about people hydro-locking their engines w/ Seafoam and causing severe engine damage/complete failure. Just be careful w/ it. It's perfectly safe if used correctly. Do a search and you'll find many threads where people end up w/ hammering engines when they used it improperly.

seafoam is wonderful...when done corrrect it is jesus in a bottle. on a mustang (ford product) you put a third in oil (before you intend to change it, <50 miles) anda third in your brake booster line when the engine is warm and on (have a buddy hold the RPMs steady around 1500) and a thrid in your gas tank. after you pour third in booster line let it soak in the hot cylinders for 10-15 mins. then start engine, let it idle for a few seconds, then (in neutral) slowly rev up and down and watch the carbon smoke show. you have deep creep, it is seafoam just in a foamy-gel state. IDK how you use this other than direct inject into cylinders after you have removed spark plugs. I used origional seafoam on a 300ZX recently and I wish I could have taken pictures for yall. the 3 cylinders we used it on were clean as anything, the side we didnt were black with sludge and gunk. one seafoam every 15-25K will do miracle for your vehicle.
