tire rotation

Ok, so I bought a set of used tires and wheels for my Ranger. Now I remember that tires should only rotate in one direction and i don't know which wheel went on which side. Am I screwed? Should I just take a wild guess and use them or what?

Ya like Stone said certain tires are directional, meaning they can only be rotated on that one side. What kind of tires are they?

I bought a set of snow tires for the winter. They are Michelin X-Ice Studless Snow Tires.

Yeah they are directional. What you can do is bring the driver rear up to the driver front, same thing with the passanger side.

even non directional tires i think it works better to just swap front to back, not side to side. radials like to spin one way
