Does anyone see a problem using the inside bed rails as a place to anchor for holding down my dirtbike? I remember people saying the stepside bed is fiberglass with a metal inner shell. My tie down points suck and I wanted one of those bars you drill in to hold bikes but my bed width is too small. This would be an easy solution but I don't know if it is going to be strong enough. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

 

why are the stock tie downs not good enough?

ive used them for dirt bikes before.. worked good for me..

 

i have two of this style extra if you want them, the bed sides arent going to be strong enough if your bending the existing tiedown points...
