the toyota's are a little high lol but I read what some of those guy's on the forum said. and they said it's a matter of getting it broke in, like when you put in a new clutch in your truck it's a little stiff or touchy, the new ones just need some time to settle, for lack of a better term, I had no regrets with my old 'yota ran like a trooper and I did every thing in it. whippersnapper, does your truck have the carbon compsite bed in it? way better than steel doesn't dent up and is way lighter.. the Tacoma is loaded to the gills trd has a locker coil over front suspension a little more room for rear passengers. to name a few. that's why the truck is High. all these things it has and we strive to put in our trucks, plus they sit up higher so the lift for a new Ranger plus locker in the rear. a new fx4 is what 20,000-25,000 so with a 2,000 dollar lift and a locker bigger tires you have near the same as a stock 'yota. don't get me wrong I love my little truck but it isn't nowhere near as loaded as the off road taco's. don't get mad with me guy's just spitting some info out here, I realize the figures are probably off some, But hopefully you guy's will be big boy's and not cry too much lol

Its funny. People will believe anything that the internet says. My Ford was nothing but bad luck. If my Toyota turns into a POS I'll say something about it. Overall I'm 110% satisfied with my truck. The op wanted something bigger than another Ranger so I made a suggestion.

Why are you on here? I haven't seen you post anything helpful. Just about your bad lunch that no one cared about. I bet you don't even know how to open your own hood.

You are a complete moron. I can be on any site I choose. Are you the forum police? Most normal people on here don't care that I sold my POS Ford for a Toyota. I wasn't told to leave. Some even told me to stick around. If you don't like it tough luck. Why don't you pull your head out of your *** and make an attempt to get a life. Plenty of people but Toyota. Sorry you lose sleep over it.

i'ld say i'm on here because i have a ranger and i'm interested to find information about it, not to bash ford anytime i can and post crap to up my post count.

i never told you to leave, you can waste your time all you want. so go on, enjoy your pos and pretend its better then your ford was and enjoy, but dont ruin other people lives by recommending a product that you like because you think its pretty. you remind me of the guy on here who argued with me for a week that his nissan sentra was worth more then a ranger... and we wonder whats wrong with our world.

Again. If you are losing sleep just because people buy stuff that you don't like then you must have a sh!tty life.

Lol, if you like your Tacos so much, why are you hanging out on a ranger site??? Just saying...
I like tacomas too, but the prices were way to steep. You end up paying full size prices for a midsize truck the really isn't any bigger than a ranger. and if you haul anything, forget it. They have less payload capacity, and the beds have way less cubic feet than a ranger (on the older body style anyway, not sure about the newest ones).

My truck was 32k MSRP. That is 32 for double cab TRD offroad 4wd The Silverado I was after was 36 MSRP. Silverado was Z71 4wd Extended cab 5.3. Cheaper where? Yeah the bed is smaller but my quad still fits and that's all I car about. I chose to get the small bed for more cab space. I rarely ever have anything in my bed besides my quad. The payload on my truck is 1295. I don't know the payload on Rangers but I'm sure its not much. Hell they don't even post it on the Ford website. If I need to tow I can tow 6500 lbs. My Ranger could only do 3100. I'm more than satisfied with my new truck. I didn't need a full size so why get one?
