Window ?

I have a 2003 fx4 ranger extended cab and my passenger side window is messed up. When i roll it down it is fine but when i roll it back up, it gets halfway up and then it sags and leans toward the front of the vehicle so when it gets all the way up there is a crack at the back of the window. I have already took the door panels off and tightened all the bolts inside the door that hold the glass in place. They are maxed out right now. Has anybody else ever had this problem and if you did how did you fix it, or if you have any info you are willing to share, it will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like somethings out of alignment or the window jumped track, when i wrecked my truck my window did the same thing, theres a clip on the back of the window, sometimes it comes out and it wont stay in, i had to bring mine to an autobody shop to have it fixed, he put a new clip on and stuck it in the track

I have power windows and the motor was getting weak and it did the same thing also, it could be multiple things, your best bet is to forget the dealer unless its still under factory warrenty, but bring it to an autobody tech. see what he says

It's not difficult to pull the door panel and take a look-see for yourself either.

It sounds like it may be a powerwindow motor or arm.

No its not....he said he had already done that so, its something more complicated and if he tightens anything up any more hes liable to shatter the window

My window arms weren't working correctly and rolling up at an angle, I took it into the dealership and they said it was the arms and they replaced them.

My power windows skip when rolling down, it is VERY annoying. The drivers side is really bad. I havent taken the door panel off yet, how many bolts are there to tighten? I thought I saw something a long time ago with some pix regarding this, I'm not too sure.
