How long did it take you to buy your first mod?
The first thing I picked up was a set of spare headlights to do the headlight mod on my '07. I thought it was pretty funny I picked them up before I picked up the truck itself. It was a 2.5 hour drive to get to the dealership my truck was at and the night before I found them on Kijiji at a place half way there.
Anyways, the reason for this thread is I managed to one-up myself already... I just picked up a set of summer wheels tonight for my newest vehicle purchase that won't even be at the dealership for 10 days or so, and probably two weeks before I even see it! lol

First off, what's the new vehicle?
I think my first mod for the '01 was less than 6 months after I got it and it was a toolbox or window tint.
For my '86, I had bought a set of wheel 4 days before I got the truck and a set of tires to be mounted on the new wheels 3 days before I got the truck. I also spent another few hundred dollars in replacement parts 4-5 days before I picked up the truck. I did all that before I ever had the title.

Mine was actually on the way home from buying the truck and it was the wiring adapter and mounting hardware for aftermarket radio. I was dieing on the way home with the factory cassette player. So When I got home (mind you it was snowing outside and no garage and the thermostat was stuck open so no heat) I took the alpine and subs out of my Jeep and installed them into the Truck.
One week later after selling the Jeep I took the money bought a toolbox, tinted the front windows, got license plates for it, aftermarket exhaust and a explorer doom light.

it took me about a year before I picked up some 30x9.50s from a friend. the truck belonged to a good friend of my dad's and about a year before I got it we got paid to put the exhaust system on it at my dad's shop, and about a month before we put new shocks, belt, and a good bit of other stuff on it(not really any mods there just maintinence)
