Icon9 Saying goodbye to a great truck

Well all, my1989 ford ranger was smashed on Monday. Dude ran a stop sign and I plowed him T bone. Truck will get totaled. I've owned this truck since 1991 and it gave the best service i've ever had from a motor vehicle. I did care alot for the truck and i was hoping for another 6 yrs of service but fate had it's own plan. Anyway, i think I'm gonna get another Ranger...with air bags too. I crushed my steering column with my chest but CT scan tests are neg so far......anyway...thanks for reading..
Jim

I know how it feels man. I've wrecked more than my fair share of vehicles. At least you walked away from it.

Good to hear you're okay. You must have really been attached to that truck having it for 20 years!

Hey, read your post....so sorry to hear about your accident! Glad to hear you are okay. I just inherited one of my brothers Ford Rangers ( 1997 2 wheel 2.3 XLT 5 speed) I know it's seen some adventure as my brother bought it new and drove it here to California from Washington to give it to me. I absolutely LOVE it!! He also has one that he kept (4x4) Anyway, I can understand your disappointment in losing it. I notice all of the Rangers in my town now that I have one. There are a lot. I've seen a few for sale. (dumb people!!) I guess I just wanted to concur with you regarding buying another one. Go for it! Best of luck :)
