I would pull the fuse. Position 10 in the underhood distribution box. Double check with your owners manual.

pull the line from behind the horn - it has a connector you can slide off

The horn on my truck is right underneath the passenger side headlight, behind the bumper. It should be the same on yours, but I dunno. It just has a plug on it that you can disconnect. Or you can always pull the fuse like someone stated above.

Mine is in the same location as mentioned above. Just unplug it for now.
Original single horn sounds like ***. I installed a pair of high/low horns on mine. Now it sounds good.

i hear that, i was at school and my alarm started to act up, bleeps, and honks, but just a little, i got fed up with it so i popped the hood and pulled the batt. - lead (forgot to unlock the truck) ...the Alarm went ape ****! damn thing was installed in some way integrated into the wire harness so if the power is taken disconnected it thinks its being tampered with.

I had this happen to me in a truck I had, very embarassing. I had a grant steering wheel and the center part where the horn is was spring loaded and would pop out when I hit a big bump and cause the horn to go off.

Anyone see that movie "Little Miss Sunshine"? It's a film festival deal.......anyway, in the movie the family is driving on the interstate in their VW van and the horn starts to go off.....too funny!! Especially since it has a wimpy horn.

.....just thought I'd share.
