Mobile 1 oil change deal.

autozone is having a buy 5 quarts of mobil 1 oil and a mobile one filter all for $30 deal right now. saved me almost $18 on everything. if you use mobil 1 and youre due for an oil change you may as well buy it now. thats a good deal! and no im not an autozone rep/ employee and actually i dont like autozone usually but they're the only ones that carry 0w-30 around here. lol just thought id pass that along.

Well I have been using motorcraft filters lately because for some reason wal-mart never has the fram ones.

I think if I remember correctly at Walmart you can get the 5 quart jug for 26.99 and the motorcraft filter for 3.99. So close to Autozone all the time.

youre right i used to go there, but they dont stock the 0W-30 usually at the one near me, plus its such an ordeal going into that place id rather spend a couple bucks more and go somewhere else. i hate walmart

couldnt agree more.

heres another one for the synthetic oil users. you say that it lasts longer between oil changes than the conventional oil, BUT does the filter last longer than 3-5,000 miles? no. so you still have to replace the filter, why not change the oil at the same time? No filter will last 8,000 miles like the synthetic oil supposedly does.

Ah yeah mine does. I missed that you said Mobil 1 filter too in the first post, those do cost like twice as much as the Motorcraft.

not really, if you want to argue that go find one of the thousands of oil war threads and post in there.

i usually buy motorcraft or wix, but the oil alone costs around $35 usually so basically i got $5 off the oil and a free filter along with it.

Yeah pretty much, its a good deal if you run Mobil 1. I'm tempted to go buy a case or two because thats what I run in my girlfriends car and our dakota but I don't want to spend that much money lol. I run Motorcraft Syn-blend in my 150 just because I enjoy changing my oil lol

Thank you OP for posting a good deal on a good product. Shame on the people who extend this topic beyond what it is.
