Warning to those of us in the Northeast.
Just got back from a trip up north, took I91 north on the way up. Going through springfield ma, the pavement on the highway in this part was in such bad condition i watched a chevy with a trailer almost loose control and jacknife as he bounced around on this **** they call roads. Luckily he regained control, i hung back and started thanking myself that i drove a ford and not a pos chevy. Well five seconds later i went over a rough patch on this same stretch of road and my back end jumped out while my front end hopped into another lane. So guys in this area watch out, its a f-ing accident waiting to happen!!!!

Is that directed at me? I never said it was the chevys fault, first i watched one truck almost eat it, and than i almost lost control five seconds later. Obviously i meant the post as warning about the sad state of the roads.
Pos chevy comment was a joke...basically the same dodge vs chevy vs ford **** thats been going on since the conception of automobiles.

i've found myself sideways multiple times, hit a bump or two that cracked my windshield, watched handfuls of cars going skidding off the highway with bent wheels, all kinds of stuff.
i'd say our roads are like this because of insane traffic denisty, salt/plows, and our tax money going elsewhere.

you're all poons its not that bad lol jk
i have to go to to springfield tomorrow. We'll see how it is haha thanks for the heads up tho
in my town the highway department dumps asphalt on potholes and just runs it over a few times to pack it down. My mud terrains used to destroy the fresh asphalt.

and, the road crews' attention is generally pointed at government make-work projects, not fixing actual problems.

i don't know about mass, (Boston's big dig?) but it seems like here there's just these decade long road projects that go on so long without any visible progress, most people can't even tell you what they're doing, other than one guy always jackhemmering, and 7 of his bosses watching
