The next time this happens, click the parking
brake on one click at a time until you feel the truck start to move forward. Just a little resistance on the wheel without traction will usually push some power to the wheel with traction. This won't work for serious stucks but it will often get you out of a minor problem on one side. This works with LSDs and open diffs.
BTW, your truck didn't come with limited slip because the original purchaser didn't spec it that way. A handful of Rangers have LSD standard but it is optional on most of them, just like on other pickup brands.
