Would like to see more small and mid-displacement diesels offered in a mid-size truck, but Americans like pep and performance.
Diesel turbos are nice but.............they are not gas engines

 

they might be getting the mazda turbo diesel engines

heck , even the kubota 2.2 and 2.4 diesel engines in the trailer reefers are california tier 4 emissions compliant

those engines emit less smog than some of the same displacement gasoline engines

 

I would drive a Diesel. If the HP was near 250. Open options to tow heavier loads. Not go faster really. The towing would be the selling point to the public. I just like the way they sound. Being able to tow those bigger boats on a smaller truck. I don't know SUV. I only think of OJ Simpson when I think bronco.
