went to the bookstore.....cha ching!

yept went to the local boarders. and was eyein the automotive section. they had some chilton's manuels but none for my ranger (hayens i have but no freakin info for what im getting into and learning) anywhoo i found this one book on ford fuel injection and EEC stuff. i fliped through it and liked all the info and specs for sensors and other stuff. the 35 dollar price tag was hard i bought it anyway, sofar just thumbing through it im learning what all then damn wires do under my hood

it just covers from '88-'93 but my 94 is not much different. cept its a CA model (more wires and sensors) reasin i got the book is im slowley building up my tools and good books that can help me service my truck as good as a local mechanic. hes a good guy and all but dang a little footwork and some computer work too and you can learn this. not only take care of my truck but also my moms 93 3.Slow aerostar save me and my parents some mula.

book: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/boo...3013&pdf=y&z=y

http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16143

i hate the OBD-1 30 dollar code thing that they sell at pepboys, etc i get side tracked counting and have to start all over again

hey man if you want chilton it does NOT have a ranger on the cover. its labeled ranger/ explorer/some thing else. i was at auto zone and it took me forever. Its a greenish title not red like all my other ford manuals. that book is very helpful. i am looking for it cheeper so i can sit at home and read it.

Probst's "Ford Fuel Injection and Electronic Engine Control" is an excellent addition to your automotive tech library. I've had a copy for several years and still refer back to it often.

how is this a "cha-ching" occasion?
