Maybe if i can find a v-6 2wd 2001 or higher truck i could make it into a pre-runner!? why not i already have the 4x4. that could be my all show no go and have the 4x4 for my toy?

Yeah i dont know exactly why you feel the need to have 2 trucks when you have 1 already. Make it a show AND go truck. People will be impressed.

no, do not get a truck to make it a "prerunner" for show. what a joke. a prerunner is a truck that is capable of driving the race course so that you know what to expect during the race. so your all show no go truck will never be a prerunner........i'm done

Hmmmmm right you are? I think it would be alil different for me. I dont need " sand dunes" or anything of that nature. thats where the all show no go comes in. meaning i will drive in all around hitting up little bits of mud and such but will never "take it hard core". not like a "show truck". dont have that kind of money

pre runners aren mud trucks though they are for racing on sand and dirt. havinga pre runner in MD would be like me driving an articat here in FL just to show off. the whole idea between pre-runner style suspension and mudding are different( purpose wise at least). nuthing wrong with having two trucks though go for it if you can.

and I dunno if that question towards Kyle was sarcasm or not, but if its a real question he rolled it out on a beach and now he's parting it out to help pay for his new mamajama.

Yeah my old truck is no more... hence the new one. Anyways, it just seems to me like you have a bunch of money burning a hole in your pocket and you don't know what to do with it. I may or may not be right, but either way, build something that fits you. This includes where you are, what you do, etc etc. Why would you buy a new 2wd truck and build it up when you already have a 4wd. The 2wd will never be as good as that 4wd. Well, not without putting an unreasonable amount of money into it. The term 'rat race' mean anything to you? If you want a newer truck, get a newer truck. Lots of your current mods will transfer over. But like I said before... if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

A prerunner is exactly what Alon stated. To try to make a prerunner where you have no means of racing it would be totally deminishing the word Prerunner. This is really starting to **** me off.
