my names steve , im new here ,,, whats goin on fellas...gotta question for anyone whos willing to help...
i just took the heads off of my 90 ford ranger 4x4 with a 2.9l ...not sure if i HAVE to have the heads shaved or not or whether its a bad idea to not have it done and just replace the gaskets and torque them back to spec...i also had alot of water in them...id like to have them ported and polished but because of raised compression im afraid of ruining the lower half (without replacing pistons crank ..etc)
any help highly appreciated
