Rolled the odometer on these this week (thanks to Fx4wannabe01 for the great write up in the how to section) and got them installed in the truck today.

Drove it for the first time in 7 weeks, damn tires are loud.... I don't remember that, maybe its because I didn't have the radio on....

Been away for work and didn't log in while I was gone, I have 179 pages to go through.... ummm... Yeah I'm skipping that....

install an ABS kill switch. WOW what a pain in the *** that was. drilled the hole for the switch and come to find out there isnt enough clearence. NICE!! ended up drilling through the plastic piece that was holding it up. looks nice now. doest work exactly how i wanted it to but just calls for a different type of switch.

Bought that Skid plate on EBAY that guy makes. Painted it black and went to put it on. Decided to replace the lower Radiator Hose as it needs to be done and wont be as easy to get to anymore without removing the plate. Then installed the plate. IT protects the back crossmember below the steering R&P which has a majoe dent as you can see. LOL. oops.

Looks real good. I've been thinking about buying one this spring as my cross member has more dents than yours lol.

And for anyone wondering, here's the link to the skid plate.

More dents? Ouch! LOL.

Thanks for posting the ebay link. Didnt have time to go get it earlier. When you take the plastic radiator skid of your see the 4 holes in the frame. Your using the back two. The bolts that come out have been threaded in the frame, the non used hole, you have to get a tap and thread it. Its 5/16-18 Just FYI.

I actually got about and hour of free time today between family visits.

I loosened my bed bolts and pushed my bed towards the passenger side about 1/4"

Ive know for a while that the bed was very slightly off, and Ive been wanting to do this for a while.

Now its pretty even. Still MAYBE 1/8" off, but looks a lot better. Now I have to do some trimming on my rear bumper b/c it was fabbed according to my mis-aligned bed.

I put on my new lights and bed cver I got for Christmas. I love this cover it folds up so you can still use the bed. Takes only a minute to fold up.

Let's see, I replaced the upper and lower ball joints, set the alignment and then a quick detail. All I have to do now is pack the bearings, replace the brakes, turn the rotors and thrn fix or replace my leaky power stearing pump. Lol thats a long list!

Dumped the exhaust after the muffler and before the axle. Not much sound difference but a little more bellow while on the throttle around 2000 rpm, but not much. Also found I have a bad cat or exhaust leak so I'm taking it to my buddy's tomorrow to get it fixed.

Hauled the Kayak to the Lagoon , spent a few hours there then drove to the in-laws. Father in law is trying to convince me to do the V-8 swap to it. Its terrible having someone else put these ideas in my head, or reinforce them and it's even worse when they stick in there the entire hour drive home and then I start reading up on performing the damn swap. I'm going to be broke all damn year again. Ugh.
