Took the truck in for a oil change and tire rotation at the dealership. Got it back and they installed a under the hood insulator WOOT. Did my first engine mod, not much but put in a drop in K&N.

Took it to a junk yard, seat hunting. Didn't find anything I wanted. I also forgot to look for an oil dipstick like I had planned.

Checked my driveshaft and the bolts were starting to loosen, again. Loctite tomorrow.

Checked the airfilter, replaced it and found a big hole in the engine side of the box where the hose attaches. JB weld setting right now before I put it back together tomorrow.

Front passenger wheel well was apparently not actually attached to the fender from what I could tell. So I fixed that. And there was only one of the bolts from the airfilter box that had a nut on it.

I just got the truck not 2 weeks ago. Keep finding little surprises. But I got it cheap and I was looking for a beater/project.

I just bought MOOG upper control arms with ball joints, MOOG lower ball joints, and MOOG caster/camber kit from Rockauto.com

The ball joints I currently have are toast, and have been for quite some time now. Not to mention the lack of proper adjustment shows on my used and abused BFG's.

I need to get new rubber on there too before selling.

Pushed a toyota on 42's down the mountain for about 20 miles to the nearest gas station (this was all at 3-5 AM this morning). Im surprised at what this little range can handle. Later found out that the fuel pump is bad.

Took 1,180lbs of Honda motors and tranny's to the scrap yard (used to be into Honda's swapping engines out but not so much anymore) and the ranger handled it like a champ!
