Dropped the transmission pan and changed the fluid and filter, changed the differential fluid to Royal Purple, changed the fuel filter (it had 146k on it!), changed the wiper blades, and washed the truck (had to get the road salt off the frame). Right as I finished...it began to rain. :/

Took it to the dump with the box loaded up with 2 box xprings, 1 mattress and a loveseat, she took it like a champ, drove that crap 35km down the hiway at 100km/h

Then I bought her some IPF 968 driving lights

now I'm in line to get a wash, get the stank of dump off her belly

LOL

Mine is what I've done this week I guess,
Blinker Mod, Fog Light mod, wired for a mustang dome light (should be installed soon), ordered black headlights w/ clear black corners, ordered smoked altezza tail lights, soon to be installed, put a new tailgate handle on, washed her up, cleaned the floor, and armor-all on the dash.
Been busy :)

Will post pics when I get all the new parts installed.

more of a "what i did WITH my ranger today",well i put the wife's taurus in the ditch, deep, steep one too. she couldnt bring me the ranger (its a std shift) so i walked the mile home and used the ranger to pull the car out with. took 2 ,30' tow straps, even then it was some work, 1st gear, 4low, tires on the truck squalling to try and get traction. got the job done though, and got out of there before any cops showed up to ticket me for "failure to control" i had hit a drift with the r.f. corner of the car and it put me into a slide, i ended up going off the rght side of the road and almost got a pole and a mailbox. dont think i'll be drift-crashing with the car again anytime soon.

failure to maintain control is the easiest ticket to get out of... you go to court and you explain to the judge that you intended to place the car in the ditch, and did so under full control

lol! i just got my buddy out of a speeding ticket, told him to ask for the calibration records for the radar gun... cop handed it over, acting all smug, because he was prepaired for that... then my buddy asked for documentation to show what car he (the cop) was driving when my friend was pulled over and documentation to show that the calibration records that he had, were for the car he was driving, and not just a random set of documentation... cop was NOT impressed... BUT THE JUDGE WAS!

Wow, that is impressive. I'm sure they don't get that much. I'm going to have to remember that if I get pulled over.

just be careful, i would butter up the judge and the cop first, about how you believe the officer acted in god faith and was really professional, so it doesn't seem like you are just slamming the cop, you are going to **** off that cop either way, and he is going to remember your name and be looking for your car...

i got out of a u-turn ticket, just by doing my home work, and finding an error the cop made (he wrote the wrong ticket) and when i discussed it with the crown prosecutor and the cop i did it very politely, and the cop and i walked out together, talked all the way down the elevator laughing, because it was a mistake he made, not me making him look dumb that got me off...
