Where do I start? This was most of my winter checklist.

1.Changed plugs and wires Almost fried myself when the socket wrench I was using for the plugs came in contact with the power wire terminal that runs from the alternator to the battery. Very hard to get at that front plug.
2.Changed Fuel Filter These 2 things may have been contributing to my bucking problem I've been having between 40-50mph. Plugs on the drivers side bank where toast. As a reminder don't lay directly under the filter while changing it, gas not too tasty. Also don't lay your head in the small puddle of fuel afterwards when you are hanging off the creeper.
3.Greased
4.Oiled up my doors, hood and tailgate
5.Silicone sprayed all my weatherstripping
6.Changed Oil & Filter----Added some Lucas to stop the tapping, it worked
7.Checked fluid levels in differentials and transfer case
8.Reoiled my air filter
9.Cleaned my MAF and IAC
10.Cleaned some electrical connections under the hood
11.Sprayed my belt to stop the chirping----it worked
12.Cleaned battery connections---reprogram clock and radio
13.Discovered where my weird rattling noise was coming from under the hood. Always thought it was the motor or my exhaust. It was the jack handle under the hood. It was not secured the proper way to the clip in front of the battery.
14.Checked wheel bearings, brakes and other things like that
15.Cleaned under the hood
16.Checked tire pressure
17.Made sure I had extra fuses, relays, fluids, blanket, fix a flat and tools in the truck.
18.Seafoamed----before the plug change
19.Fuel system cleaner
20.And the most important thing----drank some beer. Shock Top Belgian White, not bad plus it had a $10 mail in rebate to go along with my $6 rebate for my Bud light Golden Wheat, another good beer. That's an extra case of beer or kerosene for the garage.

Still have to put the spare back in the bed for some weight.

I think that was everything.

Yeah that would cause it. I was having that problem until I changed my fuel filter today. Guess what no more bucking problem. I could barley blow through my old filter, was a pain in the you know what though to get the fuel lines off.

Anyways got the fuel filter changed this morning before work and I'm doing plugs tomorrow.

Loaded my ranger this morning at 5:15AM. loaded my dads F-250 and drove to our public hunting ground for archery, was following my dad by about a half mile behind when a 10 point ran into my door/excab door/bed. hit it a total of three times while it spun around.. I'm sure doing 50 didn't help it at all. time to pay that deductible ...

Bench tested the eatc today, going to install tomorrow. Was going to do the Crown Vic eatc, but there was 1 in town and $$$.$$ pricey, and the yard i usually go to gave me an offer on a explorer eatc and everything I needed for I couldnt refuse.

Now I just need 2 replacement bulbs and the correct ambient sensor(pulled one off of a 96 looked the same as the one in the pics I had) and I'll be good to go and ready for the crown vic head swap later.

Installed my mustang dome light, a couple of auxiliary driving lights and a mesh grille. Also, washed it and cleaned the interior...

Icon7 Drove 100 miles to buy a new chrome bumper without any dents or dings.

Yep, that's right ... I had to drive 100 miles to buy a new chrome bumper without any dents or dings. It's hard to believe that out of the 1,000 Rangers in the salvage yards here in Louisville there wasn't ONE 1998-2005 chrome bumper that didn't have a dint or a ding in it. So, I just bit the bullitt and drove 100 miles to Horse Cave, KY and got it.

Here's some proof that I have a chrome bumper without any dings now.

I got lucky when I went to the junkyard on Friday. Finally after 6 months of looking I found a 2004 FX4 Level 2. Bought the seats in a heartbeat. Got the pair for $50. I wish I had more money cause I would have bought the whole interior, I love the black interior on them. The front end was in a collinear so I wasn't able to buy the tow hooks as they were bent. Pics when I feel like it.

Well I did all of this since Friday:
Fixed the bulbs that were out on my EATC with bulbs from Radio Shack, went to the jy and got a door seal cover for the drivers side(all but one were cracked), took out the instrument cluster and cleaned out the dirt inside of it. While I was at it I removed the 4x4 bulb(truck is 2wd) and used the bulb to fix one of my cruise control pods. Cargo lights werent working so I snipped the pink/black wire, taped up one end and spliced the other end into the dome light(why didnt they do that in the first place?) so now those are working finally.

Now for the rest of the day I will be looking for parts for my future mods!
