P.A. body lift- price question...?

Wasn't sure if this should be in Suspension or in General Discussion....sorry if it's in the wrong place.
Anyway- I was getting prices for putting on Ranchero shocks all around on the truck, and also getting the P.A. 3" body lift at the same time. I have had good service at the Jack Williams near me and asked them for an estimate.
(This is for a 2001 Edge Flareside 4X4).... the shocks were a decent enough price, but the P.A. was quoted around 350! I've checked several sources online and many of them have the same kit for no more than 225, or around there...
Why would a local shop price something like this so high? Or am I missing something? You would think they would realize that anybody could just get online and check out the prices for themselves....?
What I think I'll do is see which kit I need from P.A., buy it, and then just have the shop put it on with the shocks (they said Rancheros were a good fit for the truck/kit)....

OK- 290.00 total shipped from California all the way to Northeast Pa! Including gap guards- WooHoo! Can't wait! I'm gonna pick out some shocks for the truck; might as well do it while it's getting the lift..anybody have any suggestions on a good shock, can handle some banging around but mostly comfortable for on-road?
Thanks again guys!
