what to do?

ok heres a little info about me, i drive a 03 ranger edge 2wd with a 3in body and some bald 31s on it. I owe 8 grand on the truck i plan on using 2500 to pay on the truck the rest is whatever i wanna do with it. btw i love this truck its been though i say the worst hell a 17 year old can put it though and hasnt let me down.

In a few months i turn 18 and get some money 10grand to be exact im really confused on how to use this towards a truck or car heres my ideas.

Keep the ranger, pay some of it off. Then lift it has high as i can get it. I know u can get a 5.5 lift for my truck which is around 2500 but dont think im going to be happy with 8in of lift? I know theres other ways to lift trucks but im a noob at this really so i would have someone do it for me. Depending on how high i lift it will decide on how big of a tire i go with. The draw is that its a 2wd im fine with that sorta. Truck wise i wouldnt go different, u see all kinda full and mid size trucks life. Not to many rangers lifted around bastrop texas. I want a head turner pretty much. My ranger has the 3.0 how long would it last? has 104k on it already, should i do a swap? 5.0? price? I know i will have to re do axels trans ect. Im just lookin for info.

Also im a speed demon, i like going fast should i get rid of the ranger and get a mustang or something sportyer?

So what im asking u all is what would u do to my ranger with 7500 in ur poket?

a lot of things to think there about there...if you want to go fast a 3.0 vulcan isnt going to do it for you...a 5.0 will...but thats a lot of time right there...do you use your truck as a truck? could you live with having a car and no truck? im looking for a 4x4 ranger currently so 7500 would go into savings for a bit till i found the one i wanted and if I had another ranger i would take it back to stock and trade-in or sell for more $ towards the new truck...but this is about your decision and what you want to do...you have a lot of different paths you can take, which one will you be the happiest on...also look to the future, do you need to drop all 7500 on your car/truck and not something else...

EDIT: and yes, as said above, that young with a fast car is usually never a good combination...

get another vehicle, whatever you want its your money....just be smart with your drivivng..you get a ticket...you learn....you wreck...hopefully you survive and learn a lesson...

are you going to college? use the 10K for a rainy day and make that ranger get you through while you set yourself up in life whether it be college or the workforce.

if you want a stang get one. whatever
