Traded in the Ranger...

Traded in my dear old Lucy ('02 Ranger Tremor.) She just had too many problems and I couldn't justify spending another couple of grand on a 7 year old truck with over 150K miles. Nor could I justify spending 10-11 grand on an '03 FX4 LII. I think I'm still sad about it actually... I really like my new ride (see below) but I just have to get used to it. Thanks to everyone on the forum for their help. Look for a classified ad up in a few days with an OHC, shop manuals and some other stuff.

2009 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X King Cab 4x4 6spd

I really do like it a lot... It's a lot smoother than the T-bar setup on the Ranger. It just doesn't quite feel like home to me yet like the Ranger did... I guess it just takes time.

Pro-4X looks like a Nismo Off-Road rebadge but still a sweet ride.

It is a NISMO Offroad re-badge. It was done to bring the Frontier into line with the Titans. Same exact truck as the NISMO, just named differently.

More pics... (Only two others I have on my work comp.)

I LOVE IT! I've always wanted one since I test drove one back in '05. 6spd, 270hp...funfunfun!

I think 4wheeler magazine is building up the Suzuki counterpart to the Frontier. They used a Cervini lift up front and a Deaver mini-pack for the rear, threw on 33's. If i remember correctly.

That Calmini SAS kit won't fit my truck. Besides, I read on the Frontier forum how Calmini ain't all that hot. Total Chaos or PRG is the way to go. 3" lift with new UCA and bolt-in KING Coilover shocks with deavers out back... Or SAW's or Radflow's...

However, I didn't buy a brand new truck to immediately start to tear it apart.

Yeah, poor ranger... I know. Lucy was a great truck... But the rear main needed to be replaced along with tie-rods, ball joints and shocks. Just couldn't bring myself to sink even more money into her no matter how much I loved her.

Dont be sad about trading your truck at all dude that thing is SEXY! Dont lift it though. Nissans just look awkward when theyre lifted.
