ABS Rotors and tone rings...

Hey ya'll,

I'm just about to install new rotors, Raybestos PG 680027. Problem is these rotors I bought for my 4x4 2004 don't include the abs tone ring. Every place I went to says these fit the 2004 with 4x4. Abs comes standard on most 4x4 models (i thought) so why would Raybestos omit this "minor" detail. So since the tone ring is not included, can I just re-use my old one in these rotors??? Has anyone done this?

Thanks

A 98+ 4x4 has the ABS sensors and tone rings built into the hubs. You'd only need tone rings on the rotors for 4x2 models.

Hey Thanks for the quick reply! So on a 2004 4x4 the front rotors don't have abs tone rings in the rotors. Well thats good! I've been reading posts left and right about people having abs problems after changing rotors (wrong tone rings, no tone rings). I was starting to get paranoid...
