Well, i finally found a ranger that is exactly what i want (well close enough, i wanted one with a stepside bed, but i've been looking for one for several weeks, but didn't find one with reasonable miles on it). I just have to wait till tommorrow afternoon hoping he still has it and call when i get home from school. Im just curious what the color is. It says maroon, but i know that isn't a color they made. Im thinking its Toreador red.........i did a search and says theres also "bright red". Also, i've heard toreador red is an expensive paint color?

It might be Toreador Red but it's hard to tell from the photo. The exterior paint code should be on the driver door jamb label.

 

I don't know what color it is, but it is a good lookin truck & it's a blank slate to mod.

Yea, i see alot of potential in it to mod, i just hope he still has it. I might even put a stepside bed on it if i can find one for a decent price...........i wonder if a junk yard would have one for a really decent price?

well, back to looking again.......that one is sold too. This makes about the 5th ranger i've been real intrested in, and then find out its been sold. Maybe one day i'll find one.

Well, i looked in the autotrader today, since they come out on tuesdays, and found the truck i want! Its a black ranger 4cyl 5spd man. STEPSIDE!!!!
Heres a pic......its a pretty crappy pic, but oh well.

 

I like the second one better... but the first one (to me) looks like it could be the copper color too... that picture just sucks... lol

Yea, i called today, and it sounds like a good truck. I dont know if i'll get it though. I've got to see if i can get a loan, find out what insurance will be, find time to go look at it (its almost 2 hrs away).......everybodys too busy to take me right now. I've been looking for rangers for a couple months now, and watching ever deal go by............it sucks, but aint nothin I can do about it.

 

how much are u looking to spend?

 

i'd go with toredo red or burnt cienna.

I've got someone (hopefully, more than likely is) comming up from savannah this saturday to look at it (and probably buy it since they are coming that far), so it should be sold sat afternoon i hope.

 

It doesn't really matter at this point b/c its sold. :(
