What do I wish I could do to my ranger?
well alot
starting with buying new heads Trick Flow® Twisted Wedge® 205
then buy my carbs that i want, yes carbs 2 of them Edelbrock Performer Carburetors,500 cfm, 4-Barrel
then buy a nice little cam Lunati Voodoo Camshafts 0.560 int./0.582 exh. lift
then buy all the little nik-naks that i would need to finish building the 302
i think that's enough for one day

Dixon Bros Racing kit in the front.
Full long travel in the back, maybe with coils, maybe just Deavers.
Full Cage
Fiberglass fenders, painted to match the rest of the two-tone truck.
5.0 or supercharged 4.0.
The power and suspension to run 35' BFG Baja tires.
Essentially I'd like to have Jason's truck.

What do I wish I could do? I wish I could go back in time and undo the actions mentioned below
My '98
My 2000
My 2001 - Costly mistake.
On a separate note.. here's what I still wish to do, and will do in due time..
My 98
My Powerstroke

- Go back in time and not be a dumbass 16 year old, who ran the hell out of it and beat it up.
- I wouldn't have torn it apart to drop it, only to put it back to stock later, etc.
- There were soooo many stupid ideas I wish I could undo. It would have been a much nicer truck now, and not needed as much TLC as it does.
My 2000
- Wish I'd have never sold it to buy the 2001. It was mine, not financed or anything. It was beat up, but it was a tough truck that ran great, even with high mileage. I started my career and wanted to buy a "prettier truck".
- I should have kept it. I have no regrets other than selling it.
My 2001 - Costly mistake.
- Buying it
- Taking out a loan to buy it
- Sold my 2000 for a down payment on the 01
- Then I paid on it for 2 years before deciding that I was over it, and making the payments on it was just a nuisance, so I sold it to my mom for what I owed on it, after de-modding it. MAJOR waste of money. I pissed at least $4500 down the drain by doing all of that, not to mention I got rid of a great reliable truck that I didnt have payments on, to buy this truck.
On a separate note.. here's what I still wish to do, and will do in due time..
My 98
- Finish the body work it needs (spray the hood and fender, and even possibly the bed)
- Its going to need a clutch sometime in the near future
My Powerstroke
- Dana 60 swap with 3" reverse shackle lift kit, Super Duty leafs, locker, Warn Premium manual hubs
- Electric fuel system (My stock pump can't keep up with the injectors)
- Larger turbocharger
- BTS built transmission
- Rear locker
- POR15 the frame and underside of the body

reality, get some body work done, keep it clean, maybe new exahust with a side dump, fix my camber and make it a bad *** mtb shuttle rig

keep 3rd gen as DD
Finish my 1st gen tailgate mod and install a Hurst
buy a 1st gen shortbed reg. cab
drop in a 289/302 mated to a 4 speed trans
possibly supercharge it
level it out with some gunmetal bullits
paint it satin black with a pinup girl on the fenders like a WW2 bomber
basically keep it all old school...
