What is needed to Transform a '02 into an '06 Ranger?
I was looking at the 06 Ranger and was wondering what exactly would I need to do the complete tranformation from my 2002 to the 2006 look?
I know I need these so far:
The Bumper and Valance
The Grille
The Hood
The Amber/Clear Corners
The Taillights
The Tailgate
The Huge Fender Flares
The Rearview Mirrors
The Emblems
What else would I need and where could I get it when the '06 comes out? Or is there going to be other design changes before they completely redesign the ranger?
Thanks..
I do realize this will cost alot of money, but I reall like the way the '06 looks, you might not but I do and just want help on doing this..

The Bumper and Valance- 06
The Grille- 06
The Hood- 04-06
The Amber/Clear Corners- 06
The Taillights- 06 (or get some 93s and paint the bottom yellow with red tint)
The Tailgate - 06 (or shave yours and add those emblems)
The Huge Fender Flares- 06 (i think the 01-05s look better)
The Rearview Mirrors- 06
The Emblems- 06
Header Panel- 04-06
Not sure on this one, Hood latch- 04-06
everything else can be added however you want

James,
If you really like the look of the '06 rangers then your best bet would be to save your money and trade yours in when you know you won't be upside down on the loan.
If you have your heart set on doing the conversion then you will need to get all the parts from a JY otherwise you will be spending a lot of money to get the parts from ford.
My $.02

Im still thinking about its not like im gonna do it all at once, and its only gonna be exterior stuff. I need to wait about a year after it comes out then there will be tons of parts from junkyards, ebay, etc.. I doubt they will redsign it between 2006 and 2010, when they are suppose to again, completely redo it, but sence its ford i dunno..

the best way (cheapest, fastest) to do this is trade your truck for a 2006
you are not going to be able to get 2006 JY parts for a year or so
people need to WRECK their new trucks which thankfully does not happen overnight
if your truck is in good shape you should do OK by selling it outright and buying a new 2006 in the fall when the deals come on!!
