Hyper-extended my drivers door earlier tonight

I feel so stupid for letting this happen in the first place, but lucky it did not turn out worse than it could have been.

I was trying to back my utility trailer into the driveway, and hit a "moveable" 65lb Stone driveway stone, as I opened my door to peer out backwards, having thought that I was past it already.

The door went over it, and pulled out, knocking it over the stone over on its side (I am sure if this object was immovable, I would have been looking at a totally detached door).

It bent it out so the door opens at a complete 90 degree angle now, but the hinges and everything else look intact (nothing ripped away from inside door, or on frame of truck/hinge)

When I try to shut the door, it closes and seals perfectly, but you have to use a little more force to shut it. As well as when you open the door, it snaps open very quickly for the first few inches.

My question here is, is this something I can fix myself, or is it going to require a body shop to fix, and how much is this going to cost me.

I would assume they are bent, but not broken. Since the door finally overcame the weight of the stone and knocked it over on its side.

There is no cracking or popping when I close or open the door, and the door seals shut just like it did before, but it just takes a little more force to close it.

Body shop (just one that I went to) today said they could get it fixed back up in a couple of hours time. Door is still level top and bottom, but you can see where the door is SOOO close to catching the body when it closes in the front of the door. There is very little if any gap left, compared to the passenger door which has a 1/8" clearance when the door is closing.

Any other suggestions, advice?

Yeah I think I will just ignore it, the guy at a bigger shop yesterday said that as long as I dont do it again, the door is not gonna fall off anytime soon.

Said it would at worst just be an annoyance with knowing its there.

Just lucky I hit an object that was moveable, and not immovable.
