Nope. You'll never find that on a lower arm.

Mike your truck has an aftermarket cam-bolt kit installed and somebody was just sloppy about disposing of the trash when they were done, lol.

I dropped one of my EGR bolts, and found it 2 years later when I pulled the motor and tranny. It was wedged between the block and starter, and hadn't moved the whole time!

I broke the part that connect the front anti-sway bar to the lower control arm and that part sure looks familiar.

Yes, there is an adjustment on the LCA of the 98+ coil spring Rangers. It is "for factory use only" for caster split and is not supposed to be field adjusted. However, the one on the LCA doesn't look like the part in the original post - that one is a fixed plate from the original factory adjustment of the UCA.

It is probably from his truck. The photos show that he has had an adjustable camber kit installed on the UCA for realignment. When that happens, the stock fixed factory plates get removed and discarded. In this case, they apparently got discarded somewhere on the truck and then washed out during the cleaning.

That makes sence, I was just stating that he doesn't have to worry.......

I took a look at mine today while I was underneath, wire brushing the frame rails up through the tranny tunnel and engine compartment. I have keys on the:
passenger's side lower - both ends
passenger's side upper - both ends
driver's side lower - one end only
driver's side upper - both ends
