The thing on the rear end is the vent for the diff. Ya need to get that hooked up. If you get in water deeper than the top of that thing, you can fill your diff full of water.

The other is pre-wiring for fogs

Good call Robert.

The vent tube should be an easy fix.

Thanks guys.

does anybody know what that thing is in the bezel? I was thinking it was for the foglight switch but I don't have fog lights.

I think Robert said its the pre-connect for fog lights. Since you dont have fog lights they didnt give a bezel with the available switch.

oh Sorry rob I didn't see the last part of your post.

Thanks Jake for clarifying that.

So If i got a fog light valence with fogs and the fog bezel it should just be plug and play or is there still wiring I have to do.

Well, you would have to find out if your truck has the wiring harnesses already attached for the fog lights. If it does then its just plug and play. If not then its just getting one made or getting one from the junkyard.

Hey, no prob. If you got the wiring there behind the bezel then I would think you would have the pre-wiring up by the bumper. Lucky you. Had to hard wire mine.

It SHOULD be all plug and play. I believe all 98+'s have the wiring in the dash for the foglight switch...but some lack the actual lamp wiring behind the bumper. It's sort of a iffy zone...some do, some dont.

The molded piece on the bezel is what that switch pigtail is supposed to be plugged into....call it a holder if you will.
