You might want to make your topic subject more descriptive.

Also what kind of tires? all terrain? mud terrain? sport?

All terrain
Toyo open-country a/t (cheap +good)
bfg a/t (tried and true but sorta pricy)
Cooper S/T
Yokohama geolander A/t
Bridgestone Revo's

Those are not in any sort of order. Just as they poped into mind.

how do i test an EGR vacuum solinoid?

I'll beat Leo and say Kumho's for him....

To me, it really depends on what you are looking for. Off-road mudders? Nice quiet ride? Wet/snow traction? Most of the big names offer good tires, it kinda depends on what you are looking for most from your future tire.

I've been looking at the Revo's myself. Seems to be a good all around tire.

if youre looking for tires that will see off road every now and then then the bfgoodrich a/t's are the best... not too loud and have a good ride... if not that then the cooper discoverers are really good too

Fisk Sport King A/Ts are way better than BFG All- Terrains in mud and offroad. They have bigger lugs with more spacing. Probably about half as much as Mud Terrains do.

Sport kings have a weak sidewall tho. I had a set on my last truck and had sticks punch thru the sidewall on many occasions. I left one particular wheeling trip with 3 plugs in one of them because of various punctures.

BFG A/T 31x10.5x15 if you have 15" rims and 265x75x16 if you have 16's you will not be sad with these tires.
