In what way(s) has the Ranger changed your life?
For me it was the interest factor of being able to modify it with out much experience. Before I got my ranger, cars, trucks and stuff, didnt really interest me that much, it was like, ya, thats nice. It wasnt till I committed to drop $10,000 on a vehical over the course of 3 years, and then another $10,000 for another 3years after that, did it finally sink in, that hey, this thing is pretty cool. While most people, spend all their money on their house, since thats their most valuable asset, at this time the ranger is my most valuable asset.
My dad told me before we signed the papers and took delivery 'you are NOT to dump a ton of money into this truck and your not to modify the crap out of it either' since I was like a kid in a candy store ofcourse my response was 'sure' LOL I had to atleast agree with him since he cosigned under me since ford denied me any kind of credit.
getting this truck has actually spared a bit of interest in mechanics that I didnt have before. and its pretty interesting. especially when you can take a plane jane vehical and turn it into something that has alot of 'personal touches' to it.

Since I'm a modaholic my wallet is a bunch thinner since buying the Ranger. My goal was to have it finished within a year but since I've only got 4 months left I'll be short the headers & SC. Just ordered the rest of the billet & will get the 5th matching wheel/tire & bed mount when I get my taxes back.

has it changed my life? not really. Sure I might not be exactly the same if I'd have bought a different truck. I probably wouldn't have much use for Ranger-Forums if I didn't have a ranger, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that driving a ranger has changed my life.
But with that being said, I'm sure glad I've got one =D

Before the Ranger, I was homeless living in an alley with trashbags for shoes. At my low point I weighed 500#'s and had an unnatural attraction to Mrs. Pac-man! Since the ranger came into being, my life has done a 180! I used to weigh 500#'s, But Now I have a Boat!
Thank you Ford Ranger!

My Ranger has changed my life by showing me the fun that can be had off the road. Through that, I've made quite a few friends off of this site, which has caused me to spend a buttload of money on mods.
I was told by my fiance that if I had my old import and not the truck, we might not have made it to the first date (she's a truck girl through and through).
I probably would have never bought the Bronco and modified it if I never owned the Ranger.

the ranger (s) i've owned didn't change my life, i did. but, i'll always be proud that when i got my license in sept. of '83 the gen I's just came out. so, i basically have grown up with the ranger family. now, as for meeting someone like alon and bailey have. that hasn't happened yet.... where are you lady rangers??

Its saved me a ton of gas money. (my old truck took about 15 extra gallons of gas to go the same distance my ranger will go)......even though I probably spent most of gas money I saved on mods. lol but was well worth it cause you actually see the results of all your money spent instead of burning the money on gas and you have nothing to show for then. Its nice to have some thing that gets peoples attention. (specially with a bright color like orange lol)
