8-9000 is a normal selling price. Now you might be able to hold out for a few months and find that person that falls in love with your truck and will pay more.

 

wax may make your truck lookoutstanding, wax makes everything look outstanding, it still doesn't hide the fact that there is a transmission issue, even at that, i would offer you waaaaaaaaaaaaay below due to that fact, i offered a girl 2K for a 2003 V6 steepie due to the fact the paint was beatdown, and none of the wheels matched on it, she turned it down, and i told her good luck with her sale, needless to say that was last year, and the thing is still for sale

 

lol geez just read through all this. in oregon,at a dealer, that would easily be listed at 12k. even if it was a rebuilt title it'd bring 8k around here lol.

it would bring 10k no problem.

 

Then why ask what we'd be willing to pay for it? But since you asked I'd be willing to pay about 8k for it. I like your truck but its not worth more than 8 in my eyes.

 

here in canada that thing worth maybe 6k to 7k...geez i paid a 07 sport with 32k kilometer, about 20k miles, for 6000....so that thing cant be worth 10k....

 

putting mods and a lift kit on your truck wont make is value go up, if it does something it is gona make it go down...your only bet selling this 10k would be to find some stupid kid who buying is first truck with mommy cash...

 

wrong again...the truck in pic as the 4.0 is write up black on white, second you can see the 4wd *** from here.......so ya it is 4x4...so exactly the same truck as yours with less mileage for 8k

 

both of them have good transmission, the 4.0 with have a slightly stronger then the 3.0 but with the same internal...the 2 auto transmission find in ranger are good and reliable

 

Maybe up in canada with all that rust you might get it for that, but not here. Plus yours is only a 2wd. If yours was a 4x4/4.0 You would of easily spent 2-3k more on that truck.

Dude you really need to learn to read. I've said multiple times that my mods would NOT add value. Trucks like mine sell for 10-12k here in the south.

Dude you dont know anything about rangers apparently. I have owned 5 of them. The years I listed are the only one's that offered a regular cab 4.0. Do some research next time before you start telling people they are wrong. BTW that is a 2WD there is NO picture showing the 4x4 ***. You can also look at the lower control arms and see that it has been SPINDLE lifted which is 2wd ONLY. If he can get 8k for it I can easily get 10k for mine. Mine is an ext cab with 4 doors and 4X4. Those right there are a 3-4k price difference.

you cannot compare prices of two completely different optioned trucks. thats comparing apples to oranges. also, that blue truck clearly is 2wd. If anything that should prove that the op's truck could fetch 10k. I mean would you pay an extra 2k for ext. cab and 4x4? seems like a no brainer to me

Sonic04edge, Awesome truck. seems like your taking a beating on this thread. havta remember, people will low ball when given a choice. but when they want to buy it, diff story. 12k i think. you have more done to yours than i do. and i know for sure i would never let mine go for 8,000. please dont get upset if mine starts to look similar to yours. Awesome truck.

 

Thanks man and I know thats why I spoke up to the low ball offers. I'd never let my truck go for that when I know its worth more. Only an idiot would do that.

 

dude, you're asking for the lowballers to come out with a thread like this. the fact that you wouldn't let your truck go for what people would be willing to pay is exactly why you aren't selling. Just stop trying to prove to us that you're truck is worth what you think because you won't change anyone's mind. Like you I would never sell my truck for what other think its worth.

Nobody in their right mind would pay even close to 10 grand for your truck. I would never buy a lifted truck let alone a 7 year old step side with the ugliest cap known to mankind. 5 grand Canadian max is what I would offer.

 

I know what I just paid for our 2002 Edge 2wd ext cab stepside with 50,000 miles on it here in BC Canada and I looked for a stepside. The average price for your truck around my area with your miles and the shape your truck is in would average $9,500.00 for a private sale some a little higher some a little lower but it all comes down to condition. Dealers would have it on the lot for between $10,000 and $12,000 depending again on Condition and the car lot.

I will say you have a very nice Ranger and in the first colour we were looking for, black was second.

This is our truck and we paid $6,500.00

 

If you can find that truck for 5g's than buy it (I would) and you can make yourself 4-5 grand on it. As for the canopy they come off. I just looked in your area on Craigslist and Kijiji and they are selling for $8,500 to $11,500 so like I said buy it and make some $$$
