Power Steering Hose removal
Ok so I found a leak in my power steering hose this morning and figured "Hey simple enough, just a hose swap". Boy I was wrong The top that connects into the pump and supplies the rack with fluid came out no problem, the bottom of the hose is so horribly rusted into the socket I'm not even sure how to go about getting it out. Just as a heads up for anyone wondering this is the "2003 3.0 V6 2wd ranger, there was no hex nut on the fitting and there isn't enough room to get in and twist. If anyone has some good advice it would be appreciated greatly. I added a picture of the "situation" i'm in, I wouldn't post this but it seems like YouTube and other forums don't really have much info on this specifically.

Welcome to the forum
What year Ranger?
Looks to have external fluid cooler with 4 connections to pump
Write up here: https://www.ranger-forums.com/2-9l-3...-flush-147642/
You should be able to pull the broken tube out but as you said it is rusted out pretty bad.
May be time to find another pump, in better condition, at wrecking yard, not sure of the years that are compatible but wrecking yard may have that info
