Looking for the right color

...spray paint. I want a color that closely matches the stock color of a silver FX4 Level II radio bezel. The only paints I can find that are silver are a nasty chrome color, way too bright and metallic looking. Anyone know of something that will match it more closely?

You can buy a silver radio bezel out of an explorer if you can't find the paint. my friend has one in her explorer and it looks sweet.

I need the paint because I have a touchscreen molded into my radio bezel... unless explorers came with touch screens an explorer bezel isn't gonna work.

As you know, the LII bezel is flat silver with metallic speckles. I tried to get the paint code for it once but no dealer could help. Apparently, it doesn't exist in the parts system.

I ended up using Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric Paint #VS8. It is flat medium gray without the metallic. it doesn't match the original but there is nothing else in the interior that it needs to match.

I think that would look just great Bob! The only thing I can think of for it to match would be the gauge cluster, but I guess I could live without that. Where did you find that paint at?
