Where can I buy brake lines??
After a complete brake failure in traffic, I'm looking to replace the all brake lines in my 99 Ranger.
But I am having a hard time finding a set, or a looped line with bend markings, etc.
The truck is a 99 extended cab 2-door, 4x4 with 4-wheel ABS and 4.0 liter engine.
The winters here in Michigan have taken their toll on the lines, and so we want to change the completely from caliper to master cylinder.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks
Chris

Welcome to the forum
You probably won't find pre-bent brake lines, unless you pull them from a wrecking yard.
The bendable brake lines work fine, and last
You just need to go thru and measure lengths you need.
If you are really going to replace all of them then you may want to invest in a brake line flaring tool and small tube cutter.
Then you can just buy a coil of the bendable tubing and connectors, and make your own lengths.
Common failure point, at least on TWO of my Rangers, was the rear brake line running in the frame rail, it failed(started leaking) around fuel tank area, so can't get at it without dropping the tank.
I just used 2 long bendable lines and feed it through the frame rail to bypass the stock one.
