To rack or not to rack...that is the question



It is 175 and will fit over my shell.

Opinions?

If you haul a lot lumber, why not? I say get it. I would for $175, that's cheap!

If its a Kargo master, steer clear. On my 350, the coating is coming off everywhere, and needs to be repainted. It's only been on for three or four years too.

Unless you need it for work I'd wait around for one that isn't "open" in the middle, suppose if you wanted to put a spare tire up there or hi-lift or somethin of the sort...

I dont think i'm going to do it. I want a rack, but i dont think i'd really use it enough. I wouldnt put a spare tire up there or mount any recovery equip (i dont offroad anymore), but i was considering mounting some of those "offroad speakers" and some lights for around the camp site.

Oh well...the thought was fun while it lasted
