I'll be the first to say......it has DEFINATE potential!

The mexi-cab gaurd thing has got to go, it needs a paint job similar to Maurice's truck....it needs to be airbagged and draggin' it's jiblets, add a 5.0L with a bunch of goodies, add a 95+ dash........i'd rock it.

 

2wd dually... 1986 2.9 $3,000.... what is the owner smoking? it was maybe worth $3,000 back in 1990

 

I guess if all the stuff came off the truck it would be cool slap a v-8 in with some slicks

 

Yea i agree it is overpriced, but its cool to see a dualie ranger.

 

Or just add a 4.0 would be sweet....i'd nab it if it were $2000.

there was a poll on what everyone thought about dually rangers about a year and a half ago, a few months after i joined r-f, i believe the results were that everyone thought it was ghey, strange how opinions have changed

 

Its not really that useful, but for looks it doesnt look too bad.

 

I saw a dually ranger going down the road the other day with a flatbed on it, it looked ugly as sin tho.

 

because a 2.9 can haul soooooo much it needs to be a dually

I used to see the duelly's around all the time back in the mid to lated 80's, it was a factory aption that didn't sell all that well. Some of the ones I seen just had fat back tires to take place of the 4 tires but I myself never cared for the looks either. Oh and Toyota made duelly cab and chassis for a while and you can still see the odd mini motor home or EX-Uhaul with the Ranger/Toyota duelly.

 

their was a S-10 with a duelly bed on it around town a year or so ago. but it just had one fat tire on eather side instead of 2
