Makes no sense.

1992 Ford Ranger Louvred Tailgate

I wouldnt take gas millege into factor.

alot of people have those on their trucks if they use them as work trucks and have to hang stuff off the tailgate all the time. more durable

I guess you could hang stuff off the tailgate better. But in the first purpose they were made for your 5th wheel.

If it was on a full size, I would figure it was for 5th wheel trailers, but on a Ranger, IDK.

I've seen a few rangers pulling small fifth wheels. Doesn't change the fact that its still fugly

I've got one for when I tow my 26' horse trailer...just hook up the gooseneck and go pickup hot little southern gals at the equestrian center.
