the cats on your truck arent holding your engine back from producing any more power. if your truck is new, and running right, the cats should be doing the job without hurting anything. If you remove them, you should expect no noticeable gain in performance. You should be able to count the horsepower increase on one hand.

Yeah, waste of time and money on the high flow cats. Honestly can't tell a difference between having one or not on a stock or lightly modded engine. Only reason to ever replace your stock cats with a high flow is because they are hundreds of dollars cheaper than replacing it with an OEM one.

The stock cats on my dad's Lincoln LS are like $837 each.

Save yourself some labour and money and just do a cat-back exhaust. Larger piping from the cats back and a louder muffler. It's really all you need.

DON'T use a Flowmaster 40 series. I just had one installed and it sucks.

Probably Magnaflow and as I said before, larger piping from the cat back, go up to 2.5".

what size is your muffler inlet and outlet?

If it's smaller than 2.5, exchange it for one that is.

BTW, we are having a meet at Formula Kartways on April 5.

So the muffler is already on? So you have stock piping with adaptors for the 2.5" inlet and outlet and the piping from the muffler to the tip is stock 2" still?

And I'm just north of Orangeville,so like 40 min to Brampton.
