The harness is supposed to be for the power I guess? He says it is ~1999-2001 mustang dome light. I'm not sure how this one would connect to our dome lights, seeing as how they use 3 seperate screws. Anyone have any input on this? It's going into a 2003 Level II.

How much additional wiring is required to make this work?

I have the same one in my 03 LII. It can use a 3 wire Mustang harness plug like that one has or it can be wired through the mounting screws like a Ranger. 100% bolton. Installing the Mustang part is usually much easier than removing the stock XLT dome light.

I have the same one in my truck
best model choice in my opinion
it takes a bit more to make it work in 2004 and newer trucks, but is a direct fit for 2003 and older model years

Glad to hear that! Getting the old XLT one off was a real booger! I was tempted to bring out the BFH for it!
