I voted no, because I have decided I just cannot have a truck anymore that can't haul a car trailer. My Explorer is on its way out and I foresee a new truck in the future, and it will be full size.

thanks for the responses guys

so it seems like if Ford wanted to completely takeoff with ranger sales, all they'd have to do is make a turbo diesel with 4-doors

I wish there was an option to vote "Maybe"

The only Ranger I'd even consider would be another level 2 with an AUTO. Damn slave cylinders.

I voted no, because I will not ever buy one as a daily driver again. I'm not in a point at my life where only having 1 passenger seat works at all. And I dont see ever going back there.

I might buy one as a project vehicle, but there are a lot of other better cars/trucks to use a projects first

I like them so I'd say yes, I think that a Ranger is the best bang for your buck and they are affordable and fairly cheap to maintian.

I hope to have my current Ranger for many more years because I love my truck. At least until I have kids (5 or more years from now) then I would have to see what Ford is making at that time or get a four door Jeep.

I already have. I had an 86 ranger 4x4 with the 2.3, and now have an 07 (b2300) with the zippy new 2.3. If Toyota had kept their small truck small I might have been tempted, but if I wanted a big truck I'd get one. Well, get another--I had a 1990 F250 diesel between the rangers, and now that was a really great truck but I moved back to the city where it was nothing but a big hassle.
