KBB says mine is worth a little over 14k. It has 52k miles on the clock. I wouldn't sell it for that. I don't plan on selling it anytime soon if ever. Rangers are just badass!

KBB is $14,975

No way I would sell it or let it go for that or anything more

A touch over $8,000. I'd trade it in, so I'd make them give me more. But I'd ditch my truck in a heartbeat.

private party for me was just above 21k.
i'd take that in a heartbeat and find something a bit older with a bit more oomph. like a diesel! its also paid off... so thats pure profit! kinda. lol

Another reason I wouldn't sell mine is I bought mine about two years ago when financing was easy to get. In today's market, I might not be able to get financing on a newer vehicle, so I'll stay put with the financing I already have in place.

The monthly payments on a new Ranger would cost me about double what I'm paying now, so that's another reason.

My plan was to buy it and make payments on it for 5 years, then keep it with no payments at least for another 5 years. That sounds like a good plan to me, so selling it now would ruin the plan.

With the amount you drive your truck, you'll never need another vehicle.

Haha - I can beat that...

My mom has a 99 Corolla that she bought 1 year old with 13K.

It now has a hair under 24K.

My 2003 Ranger had 31,500 on it when I bought it two years ago. Today it has 39,500, so that means I've put on 8,000 miles in two years, or an average of 4,000 miles per year. It'll take me another 15 years to get to 100,000 miles, hahahahahaha.....

Took a long 8 months to get rid of it. Hated every damn minute driving it and will never own nothing less than a full size truck ever again!

KBB says $8080 for my truck with 125K miles and fair condition.

I'd take 6K for it.

My KBB is 10,900. I never want to get rid of it though because it was given to me by grandfather and when he passes away it'll mean even more to me and i wouldnt get rid of it to let others destroy...

KBB would give me 12,700 for excellent condition and 12,000 for good (I think its in excellent BTW). So if I made one final payment today to FordCredit, to pay off my entire truck I would only pay 11,500. So if someone offered me KBB price I would take it, and get a bigger newer ranger (because I make a lot more money now than I did last year so i can get a larger monthly payment). even though I have only had it for less than a year.

Book value was somewhere around 8900 I believe.

HELL YEAH I would take 8900 for it. I'm tired of it, and I'm ready for a full-size. Hell, I'd take 6k for it right now if I could off-it. I've found the truck I want but don't quite have the money without selling the Ranger.

Mine is listed at 5800 in excellent condition. If I wipe the mud off, it should be around there lol. But I don't think I will sell it at all. It will either stay a DD, or be SASed an be a trail rig. I bought it for more than I can sell it, and I put alot of money into it. So what is the point?

Paid 9k for it and KBB'd for 9750. I'd sell it to buy a Jeep TJ.

I paid $15,600 last year, new, and KBB private party value is $16,790

...right now I wouldn't take KBB retail of $18,740 for it.

I'm not gonna look up the KBB, ive put well over triple that in it, enjoyed it the last 6 years, 110,00 miles later. Put too much time in it to think straight. Even though it spends most of its time in the garage or on the trailer. LOL
