Big (little) exhaust problem...
I bought a 2.25 inch Flowmaster 40, acouple exhaust clamps and a nice tip, all the make for a pretty decent exhaust system. Howeve, when I picked up the flowmaster, it sure seemed like the inlet outlet where big, so I measured my stock piping and it measured 6.25 inch circumfrence, so if my math is correct, it's about 2.07 inches... 2 inch pipes. I don't think flowmaster makes a 40-series 2 inch muffler. This throws a serious kink in my plans, as this was my Thanksgiving break project. Any ideas on how to fix this mess? I've looked and I couldn't find any 2 inch to 2.25 adapters... I need to use clamps because I don't have a / don't have acsess to a welder.
Why does flowmaster list a 2.25" as working with a B3000?
EDIT: Yeah, just checked it again by unbolting my exhaust and doing a direct circufrence measurment... Mother****ing 2" inch exhaust. No wonder this truck seems to suffering from poor exhaust. I think I just need to find a 2.25ID to 2ID adapter..
