Installed new rotors/pads.. (pics)

Me and ricky (mostly ricky) put my new EBC drilled/slotted rotors and hawk pads on the front today, they are already 100 times better than my old ones, but they arent broken in yet and i have to go easy on them for 300 miles so i cant get the full effect yet but so far they are awesome... We were going to do the rears but the pads hawk sent me seem like they are made for rear disc's, even though they say they are for an 03 ranger, so we will have to deal with that another day.. here are a few pics i snapped while ricky was hard at work and i was lost without having a flashlight to hold hahaha

O yea that would suck if they were backwards...that looks awesome. Too bad you cant really see them through your wheels though.

Hawk, like several other brake vendors, incorrectly lists Explorer rear disc pads for Ranger applications. You will need to go elsewhere for replacement shoes for the rear drum brakes.

he did and he is really anel bout cleaning it and after every wash kev and ricky spend couple bucks on spray paint and paint drilled and slotted rotors are the worst you can get for offf roard and yes mud will get caught up in the rotor and eat it a way quiker and cause it to warp alot faster and those rotors can not be cut perfec for on raod car or truck not to smart for off road car or truck

wow, that sure does look purty!! I was supposed to do my brakes this week, but I lost the key for my wheel locks!! I had to order another one from california and it won't be here till next week. It really sucks. But those new rotors look sweet.

i really dont go offroading as much as it seems like i do, and when i do i make sure i clean all the mud and crap out of the frame right after, other than that there is nothing to really cause rust on my frame so it's still rust free and looks brand new...

I buy the 97 cent spray paint at wall mart. After the frame is clean, I usually spray both our trucks. I do my fenderwells, axle, tbars, everything underneath. It's basically like undercoating the truck. After a few good coats, the mud just falls off w/ water.

And thats my trick. Just b/c my truck stays either really dirty or really clean
