i just had a question whats the difference between the xl xlt sport and offroad? Im 16 years old just got my license about 2 months ago and i have been looking for a ranger and i was wondering which model would be best for me i want to take it offroading once a month but mostly just for the road.

XL is a basic model. no power options.

XLT has the power option available but doesnt always have it.

the "Sport/Edge" is usually a good choice for an offroader for it comes with the "offroad" suspension and vinal floors.

a ranger with "offroad" means it is 4wd and has the "offroad pkg."(skid plates, ect....)

i would say to keep your expense low you should get a 2wd and save on gas and insurance . but invest in a good winch.
