Took apart the dash.. ..and found a problem..

And now it wont show the truck is in any gear past drive..

All I did was replace the bulbs on the back and now its being a little fucjer as you can see in this vid in which I put the truck in D and then in First, it does not say I went to first though:

So did I break something?

I had 1 bulb burnt out and replaced them all..

did you pull the cluster all the way out, or jus let it hang there on the shift indicator cable?

there is a adjusting wheel on the cable. if you follow the length of the cable with your fingers you should find it and be able to re-calibrate the needle.

Its probably just a cable attached to a clip that attaches to your shift lever. Put the truck in park and then adjust the cable to where it lines up, then check it through the other gears

I experienced this also when trying to put my dash back together for the first time. It was simple bound up, and required no adjustment other than moving it around a tiny bit so the mark could move freely.
